Wer geht gewinnt"Moveo, ergo sum!" I move, therefore I am! – Movement and especially walking have always fascinated me. What has a stronger influence on the voice than movement? Anyone who deals with the voice knows that only with the right movement, only with the right posture will our voice ever be able to reach its "full size". In my coaching sessions and trainings, I therefore always go into these points very precisely and suggest to my participants the importance of the entire physical effort for speaking.

At the weekend, I was fascinated by the new book by my fellow speaker and trainer Andrea Latritsch-Karlbauer. In "Who Goes Wins – How Your Walking Determines Your Actions" It describes how our posture and foot position influence our lives and our success in the long term. For her, walking is not just walking, but much more. Namely, the foundation for all action.

With the An-La-Ka method she developed, Andrea shows how we can develop our authentic and humorous overall personality while walking. I find the suggestions and descriptions of the theme-related "walks by the stream" particularly successful, which make me want to set off on such a walk. Great is the call for managers to develop from the culture of "meetings" to one of the "goings" and to discuss important topics with their team perhaps once while walking ... Completely new and innovative ideas for companies that are certainly worth trying.

My personal addition to this: When you go for a walk, you hum as you do it. Or sing if it makes you feel good and the environment invites you to do so. Then you close the circle of walking and posture, i.e. movement, to your voice and do something good for it at the same time. Yes, it can be that simple.

And now I'm leaving the office and walking through the rain-damp Mirabell Gardens!

Yours, Arno Fischbacher
