Know your power!

… this is what my esteemed colleague Richard Gappmayer asks us to do in his new, very successful work! Even the title "You Are Powerful Too – How to Discover Your Creative Power and Assert Your Own Interests" signals the core message: Every person is powerful! We only have to become aware of our own power and also be prepared to seize and use it accordingly.

Is power per se negative?

In this book, Richard Gappmayer clears up the misconception that power is something negative. Those who work on their own power competences, do not neglect personal values and apply power in a well-dosed but powerful way, can become a power virtuoso themselves and always enforce their own interests smoothly.

This topic appeals to me in particular, as I have always lectured on the power of the voice in my seminars and lectures. Our voice – if we use it correctly – is also an instrument of power par excellence with which we can convince, seduce and inspire. Many people are also unaware of the power of their voice and neglect this "secret weapon" far too often. This is exactly the case with the creative power that we have at all times in everyday life and at work, but do not use sufficiently for our long-term success. Because, as the author makes it so crystal clear in this book: True success in life without the exercise of power does not exist!

Read this book!

In this sense, I absolutely agree with Richard Gappmayer, we are all powerful and have many different instruments at our disposal to exercise our power actively and positively! May the Force be with us all!
