This is how you reduce nervousness!
Suddenly it is there. Eyelids flutter. Pulses increase. Mouths dry out. Trembling sets in. The nervousness before important appearances has struck.
Tension reduces your effect
Nervousness in sudden performance situations and when speaking in front of groups sometimes leads to physically dramatic sensations. Many of my clients and workshop participants report similar phenomena, which can also lead to inner blockage or sudden blackouts.

How to quickly relieve your tension
Take advantage of this one efficient "switch" that directs our energy back into the right channels. Sense Focusing© , I call this more than effective exercise!
- Stand tall on both legs. By the way, the exercise also works while sitting! Place both feet on the floor and feel the weight of your legs. Now focus all your attention on the sensations of the soles of your feet. Feel – with equal loads – the distribution of weight between left and right, the weight distribution between heel and ball of foot should be at the front rather than the back. Also trace the unevenness of the floor, the soles of your shoes.
- Now pay attention on how, in the seconds of this shift in perception, your attention lay exclusively on feeling – i.e. in kinesthetic perception. All other sensory stimuli such as hearing, seeing, but also other sensations, such as Their tension is no longer present at this moment. Did you notice how the tension in your shoulders and neck immediately relieved?
How to automate your experience
They have just with “Sense Focusing©” wirkungsvoll Ihre Anspannung gelöst!
Why it works das so gut?
If you want to know more, you will find extensive Sense Focusing© Instructions in my book „VoiceSells! Die Macht der Stimme im Business”
My recommendation:
Integrate this 10-second exercise into your everyday life. Practice as often as you can, preferably in innocuous situations. This way, you also have the effect available when it really matters. In the compact course Speech Rhetoric, I will show you other powerful tools for your confident and fascinating Convincing Appear. Interested? Here you can find all information about the seminar.
