Many people would like to be able to quickly grasp what makes other people tick and see through them at first glance. What I particularly like about Martin Betschart's book is that it shows very quickly that it is less about "looking" and more about understanding differences in personality. This also means first understanding what makes me tick in order to then recognize differences. The book appeals to me because it puts empathy at the center of togetherness. Martin Betschart offers an easy-to-understand basis for empathy, with the help of which it is possible to grasp the needs of the other person in conversation and to adapt one's own communication so that it is possible to communicate at eye level. The many examples that bring variety and make you want to read on and on are great.
