BLOG-ILLU_Board-BistroWhen I am in Vienna I like to use the Railjet to do a little work on the trip... I also appreciate the service of the ambulatory Board Bistro, which runs through the train and has excellent Nespresso on offer

On my last trip I had to pass – although I really had a big appetite for it – with the "offer" coffee. The incentive was too low. No, what am I writing, it was not too small, it was not there at all. Is there such a thing as "negative incentives"? If so, that was a prime example. The protagonist was the "driver" of the cart. He walked slowly along the narrow corridor. With each new rotation of the wheels of the Flying Bistro, "Something to eat?" "Something to drink?" in an infinitely flat, monotonous, very, very bored voice. It sounded like a tape loop. And another step, and again the voice with the same lyre. So he came closer. The worst thing about it: The young man did not address anyone directly. He didn't look at the guests of the well-occupied train, he stared bullishly ahead, piloted his little cart and slurred his two sentences to himself. By the time it arrived at my place, no one had bought. I also let him and the appetizing Nespresso scent pass by. He just hadn't reached me. He hadn't reached anyone. As he left the wagon, I heard one last stereotypical "something to drink" and was glad of the silence that followed.

I couldn't help but to think of my new book. Yes, Voice Sells. In small as well as in big things. Anyone who has been Voice not convincing has already lost. With coffee as well as in daily business life. Therefore, please always remember the power that our voice gives us if we use it correctly. And that of course only real enthusiasm can come across through the voice, enthusiasm, we really feel! What are you passionate about this week? And anyway?
