It was about ten years ago that in my Google research on authentic rhetoric at the time, a French-sounding name kept appearing among the first ten hits: Stéphane Etrillard. Curious, I first read a number of remarkable articles, then found the author, coach and trainer of French descent with the company headquarters in the picturesque Schloss Elbroich near Düsseldorf. Two years later, in 2004, I invited Stéphane Etrillard as a guest speaker on the stage of the 1st International Voice Symposium in Salzburg. A lively collegial exchange began, which also bears clearly visible fruit: As a speaker, I am part of Etrillard's exclusive platform www.vortragsredner.de – and the editor of my Junfermann book Secret Seducer Voice is called – guess it: Stéphane Etrillard.
Autonomy and sovereignty – these two terms are the first things that come to mind when I think of the author of "Summit Talks" or "The Principle of Sovereignty". And I'm not just talking about Etrillard's training or book topics. What he gives to the executives and managers in his coaching sessions and seminars, he embodies himself. I experience him as someone who goes his very own way on the market and shapes the strength out of himself. For me, he is a valuable interlocutor who gives factual, critical, with great knowledge of the market and people and at the same time sensitively clear food for thought that stimulates and advances.
