SPEAKING IN A ROOM-FILLING WAY

Typically, we orient ourselves visually in rooms. Depending on how close or far away you feel your conversation partner, how tense you are and how strong your basic desire to be noticed and heard is, your voice can sometimes come across as too strong or too weak. Many people are not aware of the valuable guidance that your ear can give you. Because: Ear controls voice - and if you familiarize yourself with it, it will soon give you more confidence in conducting a confident conversation.

How to have your say in the meeting

THE MAGIC 1ST WORD

Maybe it happens to you from time to time that you start to say something several times in the conversation, but just can't get through vocally. After all, the chalice has passed you by, the conversation has turned to a different focus. The opportunity for your speech has been missed. What can you do to make it different next time?

Your voice is the audible expression of your body language

STANDING POSITION

  • Walk through the room speaking loudly and listen carefully to sound, volume and volume.
  • Check to what extent carpets, curtains or other textiles absorb sound.
  • Try out to what extent smooth surfaces contribute to the sound being carried and how easily reverberation may even occur.
  • Consciously speak with your back to the audience seats and check comprehensibility and clarity.

And while we're on the subject of pure acoustics: Entwickeln Sie doch Ihre Freude an der Hörwahrnehmung, indem Sie bei der folgenden Erläuterung einfach nur zuhorchen.

What the relieving posture is when standing (e.g. standing leg-playing leg), the backrest is when sitting - a real voice trap! Of course, you are allowed to make yourself comfortable. Just be aware of the effect and consciously change your posture if you want to score points in the conversation.

In two weeks you will receive your fourth online tip “Warming-up für die Stimme”.
