Last day in the rainforest

I walk again carefully along the grassy paths in the jungle camp, which has accommodated us so hospitably. I sit down one last time on my vantage point on the hill under the widely branched mango tree, let my gaze glide down the slope over the deep green sea of leaves. Occasionally, towering treetops protrude. Two shimmering blue feathered birds flutter past excitedly.

Don Pedro Guerra

Tomorrow morning we will start the first part of our return journey by speedboat – for two hours we will rock down the wide Amazon River, towards Iquitos, probably the only metropolis in the world that is not connected to the rest of the world by road.

Nacht man Amazonas

The joint immersion into the mysterious world of traditional nocturnal healing ceremonies will probably remain in the strongest memory of all of us. The touching, heart-opening power of the voice of our host, the curandero Don Pedro Guerra, will certainly resonate with us for a long time to come. The fact that I, as a voice coach, can experience the transformative power of Icaros The healing songs mentioned above are probably not surprising. With its warm, powerful voice, the Curandero mysteriously appeals to the self-healing powers - with amazing results.

In one of my next blog posts, I will take a closer look at the power of trust in the voice – perhaps you are also interested in how you can use this magical power of trust of the voice in your conversations, lectures or phone calls for the benefit of your and your customers?
