The video team of the Salzburger Nachrichten interviewte mich vor einigen Tagen zu meinem “Spezialtraining für Einsatzkräfte: Stimme im Krisenmanagement” in Auftrag gegeben vom Bayerischen Roten Kreuz.

Emergency services need strong nerves and stress resistance. And the ability to strike the right note in emergencies. The Bavarian Red Cross recognized this and commissioned me to train emergency personnel, crisis managers and psychosocial contact persons in a tailor-made workshop. The aim is to be able to handle the voice correctly even in extreme moments of relief operations. To put it plainly: Even if it is ablaze or the water is up to your neck, to be able to communicate with victims and teammates alike.
What are the main focuses of such a workshop? Training is provided to be able to control one's own voice in extreme situations and to give the entrusted care, often traumatized people security and support. Particular emphasis is placed on the fact that the helpers delegate in an emergency, in a friendly, but clear and emphatic manner. Because nothing is worse than getting into distress yourself and then being confronted with hectic and screaming emergency services.
